A young yoga instructor, with her own studio, came to me unhappy with her smile.She felt she needed an update and something she could smile confidently with and really show off in front of students. 10 PORCELAIN VENEERS were used to uncrowd her teeth, place the front teeth neatly in the center ( which they were not before), lighten, and widen her smile to follow her naturally full beautiful lips. This patient knew she wanted to replace her much older porcelain veneers before her daughter’s wedding. She desired a lighter shade and something much more complimentary to her facial features. We worked together on quite a few different shapes- more straight across or more rounded on the edges and decided on an in-between very customized smile. COSMETIC GUM LIFT, PORCELAIN VENEERS and PORCELAIN CROWNS. Patient was very unhappy with the cracks, mismatched colors and dark spaces at the gum line of her old dental work. A “COSMETIC GUM LIFT” by a periodontist was done first, allowing me to raise the teeth at the gum line to make the PORCELAIN VENEERS longer, more slender, and ideally SHAPED AND CONTOURED FOR A GORGEOUS NATURAL RESULT.

A midline space is called a diastema. Many patients desire to close just that space or multiple spaces at the same time. This case was done involving only two teeth. 2 PORCELAIN VENEERS were fabricated to close the space leaving everything else totally natural and matching his existing tooth shape and color. Very accurate shade-matching to his existing shade and nuances in color is critical to get this totally natural appearing new smile.
