I have been in discussion with Dr. Gould about replacing my very old veneers. My teeth are those that shift constantly, and I was very unhappy with my smile. I went in one day previous to an interview, and she somehow quickly bonded a few  teeth to attain a near perfect smile within an hour. I will definitely be going back for my replacement veneers, but this really helped gain my confidence for what I needed short term. I'm a very demanding and technical person in my 70s who's had a variety of excellent dentists and oral surgeons in NYC over the years.
Now that I no longer work in NYC, I feel very fortunate Paula Gould, DDS has accepted me as a patient.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, I had a variety of dental problems pile up and needed a new dentist with the expertise and patience to map out a treatment plan for me–rather than having to visit a variety of different dental professionals .
Although Dr. Gould has been widely recognized for her cosmetic dental accomplishments, she had no reluctance in beginning a treatment program to solve my backlog of other and often difficult to access dental problems.
Some high points worth mentioning are that Dr. Gould administers completely pain-free injections, and where possible takes extra care to numb just the spots being worked on (rather than numbing a wide area or your entire jaw).
Dr. Gould also makes a point of first explaining all options, as well as saying what specifically will be done during each visit. She is happy to answer unlimited patient questions before, after and even during treatment!
There's seamless coordination between Dr. Gould and her very able assistant who both ask frequently about the patient's comfort from the minute you walk in the door, until the time you leave.
Dr. Gould also uses the latest equipment, including lasers that cause no pain and speed up healing following treatment.
Another exceptional factor is that Dr. Gould follows up personally to see how you're feeling the day after any treatment, and is also constantly available by text message for any questions that may later arise, or that you forgot to ask when in the office.

After several consults for veneers I gave up and decided to not get any work done due to costs and all the different answers I received.  I saw Dr. Gould on Instagram and decided to try one last consult for veneers. I am so happy I decided to go see Dr. Gould. She was wonderful and was able to to do exactly what I wanted and was so attentive and does amazing work. Don’t hesitate to make an appt, she is a hidden gem and I am so thankful for the the wonderful job she did. I love my veneers and most of all I feel human again. 😀
